Synopsis |
A story of the emergence and disappearance of love between two strangers who share just one night together. Forty-something-year-old Anouk, a translator who dreams of publishing her own novel, travels to Berlin where she meets Heiner, an architect who dreams of buidling a cathedral. Though are both married, Anouk and Heiner have been privately questioning their lives and wondering whether a new true love may be out there for them. After a brief and passionate tryst in a hotel room, they are forced to question their next steps. With everything they hold dear at stake, will they stay with their respective - apparently stable marriages, or will they begin a new future together? After spending the evening sharing their deepest secrets and life stories with a complete stranger, when the sun comes up, Anouk and Heiner must decide if they will indeed meet again. |
